Based close to the Headquarters of 16 Air Assault Brigade in Colchester, we are definitely in the right place if you are looking for a challenge that centres around aviation.

You can take part in the whole range of activities that are available for an Air Cadet:

	powered flying and gliding
	competition target shooting
	adventure training and camps
	a wide range of sports
	learning about the RAF

The squadron give you the opportunity to enjoy an active social life with many new friends with similar interests to yours. This could be your first step to a career in flying or just to have fun with a great group of people.

As a cadet you can take advantage of the many courses, camps and training opportunities.

As a voluntary staff member you can contribute to the development of young people, or you can help on an ad-hoc basis as a civilian committee member.
